As part of the craft brewing industry’s fierce reaction to the sale of Wicked Weed to AB Inbev, a growing list of craft brewers announced that they would not be attending WW’s annual sour beer festival, Funkatorium Invitational. As a result, Wicked Weed just announced that they are canceling the festival:
This year, it has become clear that we can no longer host the festival with the original vision in mind. We respect the decisions of those who have decided to no longer attend, and we understand that the impact of bringing this community together is more important than Wicked Weed.
